The hallmark of the CZBANK brand is the combination of pragmatism and a spirit of innovation. For their VIP clients and strategic partners, CZBANK does not just give gifts—they convey an affirmation of status. Therefore, the requirement for this major packaging project was to create a storage box that is not only durable and secure but also exudes "Quiet Luxury"—in line with the style of Zhejiang entrepreneurs.

Before starting the design, the Tancybox team spent significant time researching the "brand soul" of CZBANK—a bank that does not chase flashiness but values sophistication derived from true quality.

Phase 1: Conceptualization

Our process began with understanding the "soul" of CZBANK. Through many in-depth discussions, we determined that the box must not be ostentatious. The financial sector requires stability, so the idea of a natural hinged wooden box was chosen.

Key points of the concept:

• Main material: Natural wood with original grain, representing sustainable growth and trust.
• Interior: Premium grey leather lining, reminiscent of the color of secure bank vaults.
• Unboxing experience: Instead of cumbersome locks, we chose a weighted hinged mechanism. The goal is for customers to feel a sense of "heft" and solidity upon their very first touch.

Phase 2: From hand sketches to 3D modeling

Once the concept was approved, the Tancybox technical team began bringing it to life on paper and through software.

Sketches & Technical Diagrams
We hand-drew the angles of the hinges and the lid, calculating technical specifications down to the millimeter.

3D Simulation
We performed hyper-realistic 3D rendering, adjusting how light reflects on the wood surface and the leather lining. The CZBANK logo was designed to be subtly hidden on the inside of the lid using blind-debossing.

Phase 3: Prototyping and Completion

This is the stage where the numbers on the computer move to the actual production workshop. Every detail is strictly controlled.

Structural Prototype
We created a wooden prototype to test the opening and closing mechanism. The sound of the lid closing was carefully tuned to achieve a deep, solid "thud".

Master Model Completion
The box was hand-sanded and finished with a matte protective layer to preserve the natural feel of the wood grain.
